Matt has been involved in property restoration and building maintenance for the past 17 years. He has extensive expericence in all aspects of buiding sciences & construction management.
Since he incorporated his Utah home and commercial inspection business in 2003 he has conducted thousands of inspections in the Sandy, Draper, Alpine and surrounding areas, ranging from residential to commercial buildings as well as Infrared and environmental.
Matt has lived in Utah since 1985, moving from Southern California. He attended the University of Utah, where he received a degree in Environment and Behavior. Matt was a competitive ski racer for the Park City Ski Team and is an avid outdoorsman. He and his family enjoy traveling, and has traveled extensively through out the world, including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He and his family reside in the Kamas Valley.
Matt holds a Level 1 certification in Infrared Thermography, is a certified Radon Tester through the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), is a member of the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI), a HUD FHA Certified Inspector and has extensive experience in building sciences, including knowledge of lead, asbestos and water quality, and training in stucco, structural, mechanical and general construction practices for both residential and commercial applications.
